The marriage notification process is as follows:
Couples must set up an appointment to attend the Registrar’s office in person to give at least three months notice of intention to marry and pick up the marriage registration form. Please do book in advance.
At the meeting you will need to produce evidence and details of your name, address, age, nationality and marital status as well as passports, ID books, any documentation on a previous divorce if applicable, P.P.S. numbers and any other documentation the registrar requires.
All details of the wedding will be discussed, including intended dates, names of witnesses and other applicable information.
Once the marriage notification is handed in to the registrar, the HSE will advise you of the contact details of the one closest to you, and a meeting will be set up with our coordinator, so that venue details and your wedding civil ceremony can be discussed.
